⥤ Overview

30,000 sq ft Cat A and Cat B workspace project for London office of global consulting firm in Canary Wharf. The project, for which align were design leads, included major M&E works including new ceilings and raised access floors and liaison with two different furniture suppliers.

⥤ Brief

The brief was to ensure a connected experience for staff moving between floors, with the client already part-occupying the space. Neighbourhoods were to be created with adjacent cellular spaces to encourage and support greater freedom of movement between sites / business groups.

⥤ Challenges

Working with a global team, often remotely and with many meetings on video-conference, made communications key to managing this project. There was also a particularly strong emphasis on great tech and acoustic solutions to support a team often making global WebEx calls during their day-to-day work.
